- Log onto the site.
- go to the dashboard
- Click on “Products”
- Click on add “Add New”
- Under Heading add appropriate heading.
- Add text for item to be auctioned.
- Add media pictures for items be sure to check media for picture so those clicking on it it will enlarge the picture..
- click and add “set product image”
- click and add “add product gallery image”
- under product categories check ” Auctions”
- Change product data to “auction product”
- uncheck buying now under selling type
- enter “opening price”
- enter “lowest price to accept”
- enter bid increment you wish to have
- enter start date and time for auction
- enter ending date and time for auction. I try to end each item at a different time to allow those bidding the opportunity to bid on all items.
- click the link “shipping” set it to the 6 bird shipping box
- purchase options at bottom of page click the option “logged in users”
- click “publish”
- after publishing click on “all products” under the icon Woocommerce.
- use quick edit under each product listed to uncheck “enable future actions”
- once you have unchecked enable future actions click update.
