The World Cup Roller Fly is the largest international competition kit fly for Birmingham Roller Pigeons. The Fly is made up of fanciers that enter the fly each year in regions around the world. In 1999 the World Cup Fly consisted of 738 kits entered in 6 countries, 24 regions, with 48 finalists in the WC Fly-off. Each region holds a Regional Fly whereby the best kit(s) qualify for the WC Fly-off. The WC Fly-off Judge, judges and scores each kit in the finals, crowning the kit with the highest score, the best competition kit in the world and World Cup Fly Champion. The winner of the World Cup Fly each year is awarded the honor of judging next years fly-off.
